To keep myself company lately I've been bobbing my head to some Major Lazer. I have to say it's pretty sweet, being a mix of dance, hip hop, and reggae all in one. Pretty much all my favorite genres present in one artist. Here is some Youtubeage: #1 #2 #3#4
Enough of that. Hopefully some of you have discovered something new that you like.
I also really enjoy reggae. I can always turn on my reggae Pandora station and jam for hours while sitting down here. I love the style just because it's so chill; reggae's message of peace and love is just so awesome. Here are some Bob Marley quotes for good measure:
“One good thing about music, when it hits- you feel no pain”
“Don't gain the world and lose your soul, wisdom is better than silver or gold...”
“Just can't live that negative way... make way for the positive day!”
Jimmy Cliff is another one of my favorite reggae artists. He never reached the same popularity that Marley did, and so his music is harder to find, but I almost enjoy it more. Here's one of my favorite songs of his, which is actually a remake of the original song (as perfomed by the Slickers) in Jimmy Cliff's movie The Harder They Come. I like both versions a lot.

So yeah, there's a little piece of my music taste. I hope that this was interesting to y'all. Let me know what you think!
